TRACEY BRAMBLE AND Eamonn Flood were married in St Mary’s Church in Kilmuckridge, Co Wexford on September 25th by Fr Seamus Larkin.

Tracey, who grew up in Clondalkin, is the oldest daughter of Danny and the late May Bramble. She attended Deansrath Community College in Clondalkin. She has two younger brothers Greg and John, and one sister Grainne, who was her chief bridesmaid. A friend from her childhood, Joanne Lawless, was her second bridesmaid.

Eamonn, the oldest son of Margaret and the late Vincent Flood, attended Moyle Park College in Clondalkin and is an electrician and technician. He has one brother Peter, who acted as his best man and one sister, Suzi. His groomsman was his friend Michael Tolan.

Eamonn and Tracey have been together for 16 years and have three sons, Jack (13), Lee (10) and Bobby (five) – who was given the role of ring bearer at the wedding. Why, after so many years together, did they decide to get married? “Believe it or not, it arose out of an evening out with the family,” says Tracey. “They decided we all needed something to look forward to. We’d talked about it for years, of course, and by coincidence it was around St Valentine’s Day, and Eamonn suddenly asked me to marry him. I was delighted. We’d just bought a new house, so it was the one thing we had left to do.”

They chose Kilmuckridge because they love Wexford and holiday there as often as they can. The reception was in Sean Óg’s Hotel and their guests filled the hotel and adjoining holiday homes for three days of celebrations.

The music at the reception was provided by Eamonn’s brother-in law, Gary Wade, and his band Rock of Ages.
