Médecins Sans Frontières Ireland will host a public talk in Dublin with Prof Paul McMaster, a surgeon who is just back from the conflict zone in northern Syria. During his volunteer mission, he led a team that performed more than 100 surgeries from an operating theatre set up in a cave hospital. Prof McMaster is a retired general surgeon and president of the board of MSF UK and Ireland.
The talk is at 6.30pm next Wednesday, December 12th at the RHA Gallery, Ely Place, Dublin 2. Seats available at events@dublin.msf.org. The event is free, but donations for MSF’s work in Syria will be gratefully accepted.
