DUBLIN: Operation Freeflow will continue until January 6th, 2004. Thus there will be an increased Garda presence around the city and most of the major works will finish during rush hour. All traffic is permitted to go from Pearse St onto College St. There is no right turn from Terenure Place onto Rathfarnham Road. Expect some delays coming downTerenure Rd West and Templeogue Rd. Works on Hazelbrook Rd at Kimmage Rd. Lane restrictions in operation.

ESB works on Taney Road / Dundrum Road junction. Lane restrictions. Expect delays.

There will be north- and southbound single lane closures at off-peak hours on N11 at Wyattville. Expect delays.

MEATH: Works on N3 between Lismullin & Ross Cross, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.Traffic-calming measures are in place in the area, speed limit of 40mph.

WESTMEATH: Flagmen on N6 half a mile west of Kinnegad, for work on the M4/M6 Motorway. Expect delays. In Mullingar temporary lights on Lynn Road and Delvin Road, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for Midland Broadband Project, delays expected.

KILDARE: The new Kildare Bypass is open since early December.

OFFALY: Works on N62 in Ferbane. Traffic on N62 north- or southbound divert via Ballinahown, Cloghan or Tullamore. Contra-flow in operation on Birr Rd, Tuesday to Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Lane restrictions on Patricks St and Kilbride St, Tullamore, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

KILKENNY: Take care approaching the new mini-roundabout on N9 / N24 junction at Grannagh.

GALWAY: Works on N6 dual carriageway from Western Motors roundabout to the Doughiska roundabout. Inbound and outbound traffic one lane. Expect some delays.

ROSCOMMON: Athlone Rd and Circular Rd temporary lights, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

KERRY: Works on N21 between Tralee and Ballycarty, between Ratass at the east of Tralee and Ballycarty roundabout where the N21 and N22 converge. This route currently serves traffic to and from Tralee and Limerick on the N21 and Killarney and Cork on the N22.

LIMERICK: Old Windmill Road (the road that links Lower Gerald Street and Upper William Street) is closed. Diversions in place. Works for site construction.

CORK: Disruption on N72 Mallow/Killarney road from Cloonbannin to Cullen, for culvert replacement works. No through traffic between Farranlea Road and Carrigrohane, works at CountyHall: limited parking at motor taxation office and Western side of County Hall.

Works on N71 (Cork-Bandon Rd) at Viaduct Dual Carriageway. Cork Citybound traffic diverted to Western Bound Carriageway, two-way system on the Western Bound Carriageway.
