DUBLIN:

Until March 4th , Blackditch Drive is closed between junctions with Blackditch Rd and Claddagh Rd, for construction of new homes.

Until September 29th, Fitzwilliam St closed for preparation of construction works. Traffic from Irishtown Rd to Bridge St via Fitzwilliam St, will divert via Irishtown Rd - Bridge St. There will also be two-way traffic along Fitzwilliam St from junction with Bridge St for 55 metres.

From 10am to 7pm on Sunday September 10th, Meath Street closed for a youth festival, between junctions with The Coombe and Thomas St. Diversion routes: Meath St is a one-way street. Traffic from The Coombe will be diverted via Dean St, Patrick St, High St and Cornmarket to Thomas St.

On Saturday September 9th, from 1pm to 7pm and Sunday September 10th from 10am to 6.30pm - the following roads in Skerries will be closed for a motorcycle race: St Monica's Rd, Blackhill to Balcunnin, from junction with St Monica's Rd to junction with Blake's Cross/Skerries Rd. Blake's Cross/Skerries Rd from junction with Blackhill/Balcunnin Rd to junction with Knock Cross to Balcunnin Rd. Knock Cross to Balcunnin Rd from junction with Blake's Cross/Skerries Rd to junction with Killalane Rd. Killalane Rd from junction with Knock Cross/Balcunnin Road to junction with St Monica's Rd. Main diversion route for Lusk to Skerries is via main roads - Lusk to Rush and Rush to Skerries.

From Friday, September 8th at midnight to Sunday midnight, and Saturday, September 23rd, Belgard Square West will close for dismantling of tower cranes.

Until Sunday, September 24th, each night from 8pm to 6am a section of Belgard Rd is closed from its junction with the N81 to its junction with Belgard Square North.

Alternative routes: south - Belgard Rd via Belgard Way, Belgard Sq East, Belgard Sq South, the N81 Tallaght Bypass. North- Belgard Rd via Tallaght Bypass, Cookstown Way, Belgard Sq North, Belgard Way, Belgard Road.

Until Friday, October 27th, section of John F Kennedy Drive in Bluebell for replacement of existing river Camac culvert that crosses John F Kennedy Drive. Alternative routes: via John F Kennedy Drive, John F Kennedy Ave, Bluebell Ave, Kylemore Rd, Old Naas Rd & John F Kennedy Drive.

CLARE:

Until October 1st, The Matchmaking Festival is under way in Lisdoonvarna. Expect delays on the N67.

WATERFORD:

Until September 11th roadworks on N25 approach road to Kilmeaden from Dungarvan. Traffic lights from 8am to 6pm each day.

CORK:

Gearneys Boreen closed today until 6pm tomorrow for resurfacing.

There may be delays today on Dublin Hill from 9.30am to 4pm for drainage works. Also today Commons Road closed from Popham's road to Fairfield Ave from 7am to 6pm for resurfacing. Killala Gardens closed from 8am to 6pm for resurfacing.

Tomorrow Common's Road will be closed from Blackpool Bridge to Popham's Road from 9.30am to 6pm for resurfacing. Commons Road will also be closed on Friday from Popham's Road to Fairfield Ave from 8am to 1pm for resurfacing works and from Blackpool Bridge to Popham's Road from 2pm to 6pm for resurfacing works.

Expect delays on Friday on Military Hill from 8am to 6pm for resurfacing works.
