Routes to avoid around the country
DUBLIN: Luas works at Store St. Garda station, no access to: Beresford Place, Busaras, or the Coroner's Court from Frenchman's Lane or Store St. North via Talbot St. Motorists will have to access Busaras & the Coroner's Court from Amiens St or Talbot Place instead. The Busaras taxi rank has been relocated to outside the Coroner's Court.
Southbound carriageway of N11 at Wyattville closed, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Northbound lane of N11 at Wyatville from Shankill Roundabout junction closed, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and northbound lane of N11 also closed between Beach Park and Esso Garage from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Works on main road into Lusk Village from Blakes Cross, 8 a.m. to 5p.m., temporary traffic lights on 24-hour basis.
Resurfacing at Murtagh's Pub in both directions on the old M1, 7 a.m. to 6p.m. Temporary lights in operation. Ferndale Road near Rathmichael Church in Shankill closed until December 8th, for M50 southeastern Motorway works. North traffic diverts at junction of the N11/Old Connaught Road via the N11, Crinken Lane and Ballybride Road. Southbound traffic will divert via Ballybride Road, Crinken Lane and N11. Local diversions in place to the road closure point.
CARLOW: Works on N80 north of Bunclody, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Delays likely.
CORK: Left and right turn from South Main St (north) into Washington St will be reinstated. Inbound traffic diverted down Shears St and Liberty St (direction on Liberty St has been reversed), due to work between South Main St. and Cross St. Traffic from South Main St (north) not allowed to cross Washington St into South Main St (south). Traffic diverted via Grand Parade and Tuckey St, which will be temporarily reversed. Tuckey Street is one-way outbound from the Grand Parade to South Main Street. Access to South Gate Bridge is via the Grand Parade and Tuckey Street and diversion signs are also in place.
Works on South Link Rd at Mahon Interchange, onto the Bloomsfield Interchange. on the central medium. Lane restrictions both sides of carriageway: speed limit reduced to 40 mph.
KERRY: Works on N21 between Tralee and Ballycarty between Ratass at the east of Tralee town and the recently completed Ballycarty Roundabout where N21 and N22 converge. This route serves traffic to and from Tralee and Limerick on N21 and Killarney and Cork on N22.
TIPPERARY: Resurfacing continues on N24 at Moorstown between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Works over a two kilometre stretch of N24 Cahir/Clonmel Rd. Traffic lights in operation, delays expected.
GALWAY: Works on N6 Dual Carriageway from Western Motors Roundabout to the Doughiska Roundabout. Inbound and outbound traffic reduced to one lane, expect delays. Resurfacing on N59 at Bushy Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single lane traffic. Gortacleva Rd local access only. Heavy goods vehicles travelling to Clifden advised to use the coast road via Spiddal and from Clifden to Galway divert at Barna Rd.
Works on N59 in Moyard in Connemara. Motorists, especially heavy duty vehicles, take detour route of the Inagh Valley.
