Microsoft Sidewinder X6
Price: €79.99
Buy: Harvey Norman, Peats Electronics, Soundstore and Click outlets nationwide
Attention gamers, here are a few new things to take note of this week. Firstly, there is sunshine outside so get some Vitamin D. Secondly, playing tennis on a Wii is not the same as the real thing. And thirdly, if you need to buy a new keyboard to replace the one you have bashed over and over, this is the one to get.
This is the Sidewinder X6. Not only can you snap off the numeric keyboard and switch it to the left, but it is fully equipped with all short of ingenious shortcuts for making gaming all the more fun.
Polar RS300X
Price: €184.75
Buy: cyclesuperstore.ie
Having used the RS300X for a while, we can conclude that it is a brilliant way of aiding your training – not only does it look good enough that you’ll want to wear it every day, but it’s loaded with clever features to help take you from couch potato to super-athlete (well that’s the aim anyway).
It’s clever because it tests your fitness, measures how high or low your heart rate should be, works out how many calories you’ve burned and tracks your training sessions.
S ony Ericsson MBS-200
Price: €80
Buy: pixmania.ie
Sometimes the simplest gadgets are the best, and this goes down as one of our highlights. This is a Bluetooth speaker that allows you to play music from anything with Bluetooth.
It is designed primarily for Sony Ericsson devices, but we have been using it with the iPhone and it works perfectly. You charge it like you would a mobile phone so it’s ideal for holidays, and the sound is very good for such a small device.
Mercedes-Benz Fitness Bike
Price: €1,100
Buy: Mercedes dealers
Think you cant afford a new Mercedes-Benz? Well think again because you can!
Okay, you do have to pedal it yourself, but this is the cleanest model within their range and is top of the range, at least when it comes to bicycles. Blessed with some gorgeous components and superbly made, this bike is stunning and will make a perfect addition to the garage.
Not only that, but this particular model might make you live a little longer. Your heart will thank you for it. A good way of getting a Mercedes-Benz on the bike-to-work scheme.
