US children's clothes retailer Gymboree is to open its first Irish store at Dublin's Grafton Street where it has paid a premium of £260,000 for the premises occupied Donal MacNally Opticians. Gymboree has almost 300 stores in the US. It will be paying a rent of £120,000 for the Grafton Street store. which is owned by a former Dublin city sheriff, Mr Michael Hayes. Agar estate agents handled the negotiations for MacNally.
