The Bailey brother snaps up Rocca house

One of the Bailey brothers, Tom (right), has emerged as the buyer of Michelle Rocca's house in Ballsbridge. Tom, whose brother Michael was one of the star witnesses at the Flood tribunal, was obviously attracted by the period style of the house off Anglesea Road, which previously belonged to the investment broker, Tony Taylor, now being detained by British police pending extradition proceedings. The five-bedroom Tudor-style house, Somerset, was withdrawn at a Lisney auction and sold later in private negotiations for around £1.25 million. Despite the distractions of the Floor tribunal, the Bailey brothers are getting on with their house building operations in north Dublin. Just before the holidays break, they launched a new development near the Coachman's Inn on the Swords road and took no less than 150 deposits in a single weekend.
