In the course of an article published in the Commercial Property supplement on November 28th concerning the redevelopment of the UGC cinema complex in Parnell Centre, a comment was made that Shooters Bar would be replaced by a different type of licensed premises.

The Irish Times unreservedly retracts this statement and acknowledges that the business will continue to trade in the foreseeable future in the same manner as in the past. The Irish Times apologises to the proprietor of the premises and its directors for the distress and embarrassment caused by the publication.
