A three-bedroom semidetached house in need of refurbishment at 21 Merton Drive, Ranelagh, fetched £336,000 under the hammer at a Hamilton Osborne King auction.

Elsewhere in Dublin 6, a four-bedroom terraced house at 105 Moyne Road, Ranelagh, was withdrawn at £370,000 by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £390,000.

Off Mountpleasant Avenue in Ranelagh, 1 Garden View, a two-bedroom townhouse, was withdrawn at £186,000 by O'Connor Shannon, which is quoting £190,000.

In Rathmines, 28 Lower Rathmines Road, a four-bedroom terraced house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £545,000.

A one-bedroom bungalow, 12 Barnhill Road, Dalkey, was sold at auction for £272,500 through Sherry FitzGerald.

Still in Dalkey, 3 Summerville Terrace, Dalkey Avenue, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, was withdrawn from auction by Gunne Residential.

Sherry FitzGerald secured over £280,000 after auction for Little Acre, a four-bedroom bungalow on Old Bray Road, Cabinteely.

North Dublin

A stone-built cottage in Kinsealy, Malahide, Co Dublin was withdrawn at £176,000 by Denis Drum.

In Howth, a four-bedroom bungalow, Sandmoor, at 23 Asgard Park, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is seeking £425,000.

On the Howth Road, Dublin 3, Auburn, a double-fronted five-bedroom period house on two acres at 118 Howth Road, was sold at auction for £4 million through Lisney.

In Clontarf, 2 Seapark Road, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, was sold at auction for £305,000 through H J Byrne.

At 31 Kincora Road, a four-bed bungalow was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is quoting £520,000.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 6 Glandore Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9, was withdrawn at £240,000 and sold later for a higher price through Gunne Residential.

In Dublin 7, 8 St. Joseph's Cottages, a two-bedroom cottage in need of modernisation on Blackhorse Avenue, was sold at auction for £157,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, a four-bedroom detached house, Coolard, at Castleknock Road, was withdrawn at £435,000 and is under negotiation through Flynn & Associates.

Dublin 2 and 4

In Dublin 2, 19 Parliament Street, a stylish fourth-floor penthouse apartment was withdrawn at £210,000 and sold later for a higher price through Douglas Newman Good.

In Sandymount, 7 Newgrove Avenue, a two-bedroom period house, was sold at auction for £260,000 by Gunne Residential.

Also in Sandymount, 2 Newbridge Avenue, a two-bedroom terraced house, was sold prior to auction by Meldon & Sons.

Dublin 14 and 16

Sherry FitzGerald secured £610,000 at auction for 1 Wynnsward Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, a four-bedroom semidetached house.

In Rathfarnham, 5 The Greenlands, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, was sold at a Lisney auction for about £350,000.

Douglas Newman Good is seeking £340,000 for 17 Castleside Drive, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, following its withdrawal from auction at £320,000.

In Churchtown, Dublin 14, a two-bedroom semi-detached house at 50 Lower Churchtown Road, was withdrawn at £220,000 by Sherry FitzGerald, which sold it later for a higher price.

Wicklow

In Enniskerry, Ballybrew, a four-bedroom bungalow, was withdrawn at £425,000 by Jackson-Stops McCabe, which is now seeking offers in excess of £600,000.

In Delgany, Jackson-Stops McCabe is seeking over £530,000 for Claremont, a three-bedroom detached house on an acre at Killincarrig, following its withdrawal from auction at £475,000.

Provincial

In Rathcoole, Co Dublin, a 77-acre parcel of agricultural land at Cupidstown, Kilteel, was withdrawn from auction at £285,000 and sold later for a higher price through Coonan.

In Naas, Co Kildare, a five-bedroom detached house, Mandern, 7 Morrell Lawns, was withdrawn by Colm McEvoy.

In Co Meath, a seven-bedroom Georgian house on 75 acres, Metcalfe Park House and Stud, in Enfield was withdrawn at £700,000 by Coonan.

In Co Kilkenny, a seven-bedroom detached house on half an acre at Bleach Road, Kilkenny City was withdrawn at £330,000 and sold later for over £350,000 by Ganly Walter Boyd.

In Nenagh, Co Tipperary, a 43-acre plantation was sold at auction for £86,500 by Talbot Auctioneers.

Also in Co Tipperary, a large period house on 25 acres at Cregg, Carrick on Suir was withdrawn by Shee & Hawe.

A four-bedroom house on 48 acres, Clonbalt House, at Clonbalt, Longford, was sold at auction for £1,450,000 through McDonagh Casey.

Also in Co Longford, a bungalow on 11 acres at Endale, Ardagh Village, with planning permission for five houses, was £270,000 through joint agents Ganly Walters and Quinn Bros.

A terraced house in need of repair at 21 Newline, Castlebar, Co Mayo was sold at auction for £66,000 through Moran Auctioneers.

Still in Co Mayo, the same agent sold a terraced house at 51 Lower Charles Street, Castlebar at auction for £37,500.

Commercial

In Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, The Chester Beatty Library building on almost an acre at Shrewsbury Road was sold at auction for £7.2 million by Sherry FitzGerald.

A mid-terrace office building at 50 Northumberland Road, Dublin 4, was sold at auction for £1.5 million by McCabe Crisp & Partners.

Morrisseys secured £2,250,000 at auction for The Wharf Tavern licensed premises at East Road, Dublin 3.

A 2,736 sq ft four-storey over basement Georgian building at 20 Herbert Place, Dublin 2, including a 581 sq ft mews was sold at auction for £1.25 million by Gunne.

A shop premises at 89 & 89A Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, was sold after auction for £240,000 by Christies.

A 0.25-acre development site in Ratoath, Co Meath, was withdrawn at £305,000 and sold later for a higher price through Toole McKay.

In Co Kildare, a 4.24-acre site with outline planning permission for a four-bed detached bungalow at Ballymore Eustace, was sold at auction for £275,000 through Colm McEvoy.

Still in Co Kildare, 16 acres of residential development land at Athgarvan, Newbridge, was auctioned in lots through Colm McEvoy. Lot 1: 7.9 acres were withdrawn at £1,225,000. Lot 2: 8.1 acres was withdrawn at £1,175,000.

Gunne fetched over the withdrawal price of £910,000 after auction for The Travellers Rest public house on the Dublin Road, Ardee, Co Louth.

A one-acre site with buildings at Mountrath Road, Portlaoise, Co Laois, was sold at auction for £320,000 through Lisney.

Elsewhere in Co Laois The Horseshoe Inn residential pub, Abbeyleix, was withdrawn at £360,000 and is under negotiation through Cowan Auctioneers.

J P & M Doyle withdrew seven acres with outline planning permission for 30 detached houses at Rathvilly, Carlow, at £250,000.

Also in Co Carlow, buildings on a 0.93-acre site at Strawhill Industrial Estate, were withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £275,000.

Harrington Lait withdrew Earls newsagents on Abbey Street, Wicklow. It is currently under negotiation.

In Waterford, The Saratoga bar and restaurant, at Woodstown, was withdrawn and sold later for about £450,000 through John Rohan.
