Dublin city planners have granted permission for almost 300,000 sq ft of offices in the Dublin docklands opposite the International Financial Services Centre.
However, joint developers Alanas - along with John Flynn and Paddy Kelly - have been refused permission for 110 apartments with 90 underground car-parking spaces on part of the former Carrolls transport site, which fronts on to Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Cardiff Lane and Hanover Street. The offices will be provided in a six-storey block with the top floor set back. There will also be a basement car-park for 180 cars and 232 bicycle spaces.
