Starting with a site gives you a lot more scope. We knew the architect and he really listened to us, coming up with an unusual design which we love.

We wanted to ensure there was plenty of natural light throughout the house and this was achieved with large windows.

Another major feature is the large pond, with Japanese Koi, and elevated large decking areas on different levels.

Many a meal has been enjoyed here, admiring our landscaped back garden.

And the neighbourhood?It's a quiet cul-de-sac with only seven houses, enjoying both rural aspects and proximity to the village of Dunmore East, which has a selection of fine restaurants and amenities.

Who would like to live in your home?It's suitable for those wishing to live in the peaceful surroundings of a lovely fishing village yet only 12 kilometres from Waterford city. Dunmore East is one of the most beautiful villages in Ireland.
