Pat Gunne moves jobs at CBRE

Changing Guard:Two prominent figures on the Irish property scene are moving to new roles within their respective companies.

After 10 years at the helm, Pat Gunne of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) is to move into the position of deputy chairman of the company at the end of the year.

Gunne, who will continue to serve on the European board of the company says he is making the move to allow him "to spend more time focusing on Irish clients and the wider European capital markets business".

The US-owned CB Richard Ellis Group bought the Gunne group for €20 million in 2005,

The new managing director from January will be Guy Hollis. Hollis will be returning to CBRE from Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was an international director based in Hong Kong.

He previously worked for Insignia Richard Ellis, where he was responsible for establishing operations in Belfast.

Meanwhile Paul McNeive, managing director of Savills Hamilton Osborne King, is to move to the office division as a director alongside Roland O'Connell.

The managing directorship is rotated every four years and the new MD from October will be Angus Potterton, who has been director of the company's commercial property management division until now.Aidan O'Hogan has been re-elected as executive chairman.London-based property firm Savills bought Hamilton Osborne King last year for €50 million.
