A SITE with planning permission for an apartment development overlooking the River Liffey at Chapelizod, Dublin 20, is expected to make more than £240,000 when it is auctioned on July 17th by Sherry FitzGerald. The 0.31-acre site is located at the junction of Chapelizod Road and Maidens Row.

It has planning permission for 12 two-bedroom apartments and nine one-bedroom units in a three-storey block with a basement car-park. Chapelizod is one of the few villages on the outskirts of the city that still retains a certain amount of rural charm.
