New homes schemes in South Dublin

South Dublin offers affordability and improved access to the buyer

It may come as something of a surprise to discover that the South Dublin county council area doesn’t comprise SoCoDu as popularised by Ross O’Carroll Kelly, but instead refers to Ballyboden, Clondalkin, Templeogue, Tallaght, Citywest and Lucan, among others. With these areas located in close proximity to the M50 route around the city and major arteries out of Dublin to the regions they prove popular with buyers who travel for their work. Improved rail links to the city, along with the Luas extension to Saggart mean the city centre has become very accessible too. Prices are more affordable too, for example Cuil Duin, a scheme by Harcourt Developments has just launched in Fortunestown with three-beds starting from €320,000 and four-beds from €420,000.
