Co Dublin: Forty more apartments at the €100 million Tullyvale development in Cabinteely are being released this week through Hooke & MacDonald. Prices start at €240,00 for one-bedroom apartments - of which five are available - that have from 43 sq m (460 sq ft) of space.

Two-bedroom apartments cost from €279,500: these range in size from 54-73 sq m (580-790 sq ft). Three-bedroom apartments with 82-93 sqm (890-1,000 sq ft) cost from €360,00, while three-bedroom penthouses of 97 sq m (1,050 sq ft) are priced from €450,000.

Tullyvale, which will eventually comprise 390 apartments and penthouses, is situated on an elevated site which affords fine views of Killiney Bay, Dublin Bay and the Dublin Mountains. Previous phases have already resulted in the sale of some 200 apartments.

A leisure centre for the exclusive use of residents has just been completed and fitted out. It includes a 10-metre by five-metre swimming- pool, a sauna, Jacuzzi, steamroom and 650 sq ft of gymnasium space.

Tullyvale is situated within walking distance of the main station planned for the proposed Luas extension running through Cherrywood. At present, buses on the N11 are the nearest transport for commuters without cars.

It is close to the N11 and near the Southern Cross (M50) motorway route. It is convenient to the Cherrywood Science and Technology Park, Sandyford Business Park and UCD, while a neighbourhood shopping centre is proposed for a site near the suggested Luas stop.

Designed in brick and colour-render five-storey blocks, most apartments have large balconies and en suite bedrooms.

The blocks are situated around several extensive landscaped courtyards and there is plenty of underground and surface car-parking. All apartments come with gas-fired central heating and fitted kitchens.

Tullyvale is being developed by William Neville & Sons. Show apartments are open today and tomorrow from noon to 2 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
