Kildare's Curragh Lodge Hotel for auction with £2m guide

The Curragh Lodge Hotel, on the outskirts of Kildare, is for sale at auction on June 28th, with joint agents Hamilton Osborne King and Colm McEvoy Auctioneers quoting £2 million. The hotel, which has been substantially upgraded in recent years, has 21 bedrooms, all en suite, and a nightclub. The same agency is quoting £3 million for a 63-acre site between the shorts of Lough Ramor and the main Dublin to Cavan Road beside the village of Virginia, Co Cavan. The property has outline planning for a development of 42 retirement/townhouses and 20 houses on individually landscaped sites.
