Apartments in Druids Glen Golf Resort in north County Wicklow would make an accessible weekend home for golfers.

Hamilton Osborne King is launching eight two-bedroom lodge-style apartments from a show unit this weekend.

Buyers are entitled to three years free membership of Druids Glen golf club and playing rights to Druids Heath, the second championship course at this 400-acre estate.

Prices start at €420,000 for good-sized two-bed apartments which have 91 to over 93sq m (978-1,000sq ft) of living space.

Each unit will have lake and parkland views, with a paved balcony or terrace to enjoy them from.

Spacious sittingrooms, well-equipped kitchens and luxurious bathrooms are promised.

Upper floor apartments have a vaulted ceiling which adds character. Standard features include white oak kitchens with oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer.

Wardrobes are cherry and windows are Nordic pine. Bathrooms have marble tiling. Heating is by gas and the apartments are wired for a security alarm.

The new apartments are sited close to the entrance of the five-star Marriott Hotel complex, leisure centre and fitness spa.

Druids Glen won the European Golf Course of the Year award this year.

The resort is a few miles from Newtownmountkennedy and 25 miles from Dublin via the busy N11.
