Shopfront: There may not be anything new about Dunnes Stores jersey bed linen (Calvin Klein and Habitat have both done something similar) but it's still a great idea to use a utilitarian material usually associated with T-shirts and underwear to make very soft duvet covers, pillow cases and fitted sheets.

The Dunnes Stores "pack" includes these three items and a set for a double bed costs a reasonable €45. The colours are underwear style too - grey and blue.

At the other end of the scale, Bottom Drawer at Brown Thomas stocks jersey bed linen by Slouchi in red, white, navy and blue with double prices starting at €45 for a fitted sheet and €65 for a double.
