The planning authorities have cleared the way for Northern Ireland's largest factory outlet, Junction One, in Antrim. The Guinea Group is to begin work shortly on the first phase, which covers 26 acres and will open for business in 2003. The site, on the main route to the Giant's Causeway and Donegal, is 20 miles from Belfast city centre and will include 150,000 sq ft of factory outlets, 70,000 sq ft of retail warehousing and 35,000 sq ft of leisure, including a multiplex cinema and several restaurants.
