CALLING ALL optimists! In these hard times, Design Twentyfirst Century is looking for all sorts of people – artists, analysts, entrepreneurs, innovators, networkers, researchers and, yes, optimists – to take part in a pilot project called “Designing Dublin: Learning to Learn”.

Ten individuals will be invited to work collaboratively on a multi- disciplinary team over the course of three months to research, invent and prototype solutions for an as-yet-unspecified public project, with the support of Dublin City Council and the Creative Dublin Alliance.

“We are looking for 10 people who are creative, curious thinkers and, most importantly, doers who are passionate about learning,” says Jean Byrne of Design Twentyfirst Century. “We welcome applications from everybody who fits that description regardless of background, education, age or nationality.” Details on how to apply are at www.design21c.com, and the deadline is next Tuesday, June 30th.
