ANOTHER out-of-town office park is planned for Clonskeagh, Dublin 14. A consortium led by John Flynn and Paddy Kelly is shortly to seek planning permission for 140,000 square feet of offices on the former headquarters of the Jones Group, which they have bought for £3.25 million. The six-acre site is located beside Beech Hill Office Campus, where 90,000 square feet has been developed and let and another 65,000 of space is under construction. The site is also near, Richview Office Park, where there is planning permission for 120,000 square feet. More, than 50,000 square feet has been completed and another 50,000 square feet is currently under negotiation.
The consortium is expected to provide 80,000 square feet in one part of the Jones site with floor sizes of around 20,000-square-feet aimed at institutions. A further 60,000 square feet will be available in small office units. A restaurant is also to be provided.
The consortium, which includes Joe and Patrick Linders, will have the option of letting most of the existing 120,000 square feet of office and industrial buildings on the site until the buildings are to be demolished to make way for high-tech office accommodation.
