Sherry FitzGerald fetched €2.72 million at auction yesterday for a four-bedroom period house at 3 Glenart Avenue in Blackrock, Co Dublin. Four parties chased the property after bidding opened at €2.45 million. The house has been fully refurbished by the current owners.

Meanwhile, Lisney had less success with Clontra, the large Gothic lodge on 19 acres of seaside land in Shankill, Co Dublin. It failed to attract a bid yesterday and is now on the market by private treaty with an asking price of €18.5 million. ...
