Tuesday-Thursday (March 14th -17th):Sotheby's four-day sale of property from the estate of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands in Amsterdam raised more than €5 million for charity, well in excess of the pre-sale estimate of €1.5 million. All 10,000 items, offered in 1,535 lots sold including a set of four doucai South Sea Bubble plates, €35,550 (€7,000-€9,000). Full results at sothebys.com

Tuesday (March 22nd):John Weldon Auctioneer, Cows Lane , Temple Bar, Dublin 2. 18ct gold Breitling Navitimer wristwatch (number 23 of a limited edition of 100 purchased in the Liffey Valley shopping centre for €13,000) sold for €6,050 (€2,500-€3,500); Tiffany diamond ring, with an insurance value of $16,500, made €5,800 (€4,000-€5,000).
