Piles of style at Minima

A RUG adds piles of style to any space

A RUG adds piles of style to any space. Minima (01-6337716), in the Waterfront building, Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, has a selection of display models reduced to clear. They include a hand-knotted 100 per cent wool design in green by London-based, Dublin-born designer Luke Irwin.

His work graces the floors of rock stars and one of his rugs was presented to US President Obama on behalf of the Jack and Jill foundation by Irwin’s father, its CEO. Inspired by crop circles, the rug is one of his signature pieces, measures 1.8m by 2.6m and is reduced from €5,000 to €2,500. Minima has a viscose rug called Kama in grey. It is 2m by 3m and is down from €3,145 to €2,300. A circular GT design rug, Tattoo (pictured), 2.2m in cream wool and chenille, is reduced from €2,129 to €1,500.
