Interior designer Philippa Buckley of Studio 44 Design (087-9898440, studio44.ie) has an antique piece that has been customised by London-based rock star designer Jimmy Martin ( jimmymartin.co.uk) upon whose throne Madonna recently perched during part of her half-time show at the US Superbowl.
The tallboy has been silver leafed and wrapped in barbed wire detailing. The chest and customisation originally cost €2,250 and is now for sale for €800. It measures 115cm tall by 71cm wide and 51cm deep. The piece can be viewed by arrangement at Philippa’s D 14 studio.
