ORIENTAL Rugs, at 104 Francis Street (01-4531222) has 50 per cent off new and vintage, handspun and handwoven kilims and rugs. An embroidered tribal kilim of wool and silk measuring 2m by 1.2m from Sahzavan in north-west Iran was €780 and is now €390.
There are several new kilims also reduced. A design from Denizli in southeast Turkey measuring 1.68mby 1.21m is down from €180 to €90 while another from Afyon, also in southeast Turkey and measuring 1.77m by 1.17m is reduced from €250 to €125.
