This week we meet actor Kate Gilmore, who is currently playing the role of Katarina in Town is Dead, by Phillip McMahon and Raymond Scannell, which is currently on the Peacock stage at the Abbey Theatre. From what we have heard so far this show is not to be missed and is selling out fast.

Tell us about the outfit you’re wearing today

I got the cape/jacket and boots from Folkster for our opening night of Town Is Dead. The boots were a steal at only €20 and I think I paid €69 for the cape. The jeans, top and belt belong to my mother who has more style than I can ever hope for.

I love anything structured and dramatic, that’s why I’m into capes at the minute. I feel all Katharine Hepburn in them. I like anything that come in tight at the waist. Also, give me a high neck and I’m anyone’s.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

I’m headed to Virginia in America for a few weeks this summer. I’m also going to travel a little around the east coast. I’m looking forward to it and hoping it will be the start of many more adventures.
