Wear it Out: Festival gems from charity shops

This week we met style blogger Sarah Hanrahan at the Body & Soul festival

This week we met an expert at this, style blogger Sarah Hanrahan who runs icomeundone.com. We met Sarah down at the amazing Body & Soul festival last weekend. Body & Soul is my favourite festival; every year it is a feast of amazing music, art and magic in the forest.

Festivals allow us to experiment more with what we wear. We all throw off the restraints of the 9-5 and can be exactly who we want to be for three days. Anything goes, so you can be adventurous and Sarah shows us how to do that without breaking the bank.

Rule number one, hit the charity shops. There are so many all over the country and if you root enough you will find the most amazing festival gems. Sarah’s sheer kimono, black belt and body con dress are all thrifted, proving that it doesn’t cost a fortune to put together a funky look for a special occasion. So, with all the main items coming from charity shops, this week we will focus on accessories.

Belt: Free People have an amazing range of festival belts, so if you can thrift the rest of your look their belts are worth investing in. This one is one of my favourites. Child of the Wild siren belt, freepeople.com €123

Hat: A fedora is your best friend at festivals. It will shield you from the sun and protect you from the rain. I love the trim on this one from Asos. Asos, €30.14
