CELEBRATING 25 YEARS in business, the Tommy Hilfiger collection for spring is perfect for all those embracing cricket as our new national sport. It’s preppy, to be sure, but with a touch of rockabilly, full of bright colours and mixed patterns. We especially love the boyfriend shirt, shown here in a red and white checkerboard pattern, but there is a fine selection of them in stripes too – highly covetable and the kind of thing you’d hold on to for years – especially if it holds good memories. Colour-blocked accessories add a final touch of gloss.

The women’s looks are a play on Babe Paley’s iconic style – here’s hoping we have the kind of balmy summer to allow us to wear this billowy, yellow Gatsby number. The season’s menswear included the usual hard-wearing trove of classics, and more often than not, there’s a pop of the TH trademark red embellishing the detail.
