Beauty tips: Wonders from the wee county

Louth’s Fuschia Make-up has become the number one professional make-up range for salons and spas across Ireland

Fuschia Make-up was created by Gillian Moore in 2005. She opened her first shop in Scotch Hall Shopping Centre in Drogheda, Co Louth. The company has gone from strength to strength, and in 2009 it diversified. It has fast become the number one professional make-up range for salons and spas across Ireland. In 2012 the company added a wholesale division. Fuschia added an additional store in Swords in 2013 and now employs 27 people in its warehouse, flagship shop and head offices, which are all in Drogheda.

Fuschia has a fantastic range of products – from mineral foundations to make-up brushes – all at affordable prices. It has customisable palettes that allow you to choose the eyeshadows, blushers, bronzers and concealers you want and mix and match products within the same palette, which is great for those who travel.

Fuschia’s classic lipstick range comes in 26 different shades, each of which is thoroughly moisturising and great value at €13.50. Look out for Posy, a perfect nude for Irish skin tones. The latest addition is the Mink Lashes collection. These come in eight different styles and cost €15 per set.
