Aisling’s Picks of the Week: Hats off to Philip Treacy for his MAC highlighter that gives a luminous glow

Nuxe Prodigieux Huile De Douche

The best thing about this shower oil from the best selling French pharmacy brand Nuxe, is not only does it smells delicious, it also moisturises while leaving skin with a slight gleam. A real treat.

No7 Shimmer Palette (€17.50)

This time of year always sees the emergence of lots of glow-making products and this is a nice palette that can be used on both cheeks and eyes. The individual stripes of colour can be swirled together to produce a rose gold finish, or alternatively used separately to highlight or add subtle colour. Two colourways are available: Rose and Bronze.

Nars All Day Weightless Foundation (€43)

Those who found Nars Sheer Glow a little too… sheer, will like the increased coverage and matte finish of this foundation. It is oil free which makes it perfect for oily to combination skin and summer time wear. With twenty shades in the range you will be hard pressed to find a shade that does not suit your complexion.

Philip Treacy for Mac Highlight Powder (€33)

Well we just knew that a Mac/Philip Treacy collaboration would be as suitably flamboyant and stylish as the hats the Irish milliner has become so famous for. My favourite piece from the range is this Highlight Powder which looks almost too perfect to be used. But do use it because it delivers a light, luminious glow and gives a polished finish to make up. Available in two subtle pink toned shades.

Ren are one of my favourite skincare brands and I have such admiration for the way they don’t ponce around with made up science, but get straight down to the task at hand, which is to give you better skin instantly.
