Black Swan has pirouetted fashion towards ballerina chic with all that tulle, tutus and fluttery feathers.

This peachy chiffon ballerina number with rosebud detail (worn with blocked-toed pointes) is from Dresscode, a new Irish brand specialising in full length evening, debs and bridal dresses. Aoife Collins is both designer and director of the company, which has been up and dancing for the past four years, with a successful evening wear concession in Arnotts. Now that Dresscode has expanded into bride and bridesmaids wear, it has collaborated with Hickeys and has moved to the the Henry Street fabric store in Dublin 1. DEIRDRE McQUILLAN
