Ra Ra Revlon

You have to be doing something right to keep customers coming back for 80 years. Revlon was the first company to have colour collections based on seasonal trends, and to invent opaque nail colour – the first shade, Revlon Red, is still a bestseller today. New to the range are ColourBurst Lip Butters, which condition lips while providing a shot of brightness. They usually cost €11.25, but are reduced to €7 until the end of July, at Boots, Unicare and McCabes pharmacies countrywide.

Tan Watch

Swapping tights for bare legs – how lovely. Instant tan can save the day if your pins are not looking their best. Aerotan is an instant spray tan from California (Pamela Anderson is a fan), with a pleasant smell, streak-free finish and a non-budge formula. It costs €16.99 at selected pharmacies or suntan.ie

Hats on

Australia has the world’s highest rate of skin cancer, so they know a thing or two about sun protection; down under, a hat is considered a vital piece of kit. Wallaroo hats not only give welcome shade, they use fabrics that block 97.5 per cent of the sun’s ultraviolet rays, and are vouched for by the Australian Radiation Protection Agency. They’re now available in Ireland and come in a variety of styles and colours. Bonus points for being foldable and washable as they’ll spring back into shape after even the most crowded Ryanair flight. They cost €50, from Neelu beauty salon at Arnotts, Henry Street.

NeoStrata products My skin is very problematic. After years of using high-end stuff, I am using an American medical brand I get at my local chemist.

Nag champa incense I am a great believer in meditation but I struggle to find the discipline to do it. If I burn Nag Champa it really helps me to focus and let go. My bicycle My bright blue town bike was a gift from my boyfriend. I love to sing a song as I peddle or recite lines I’m learning for a show. My luxury product is I Coloniali body massage cream; it’s divine. The jar is a thing of beauty and the cream has tiny little granules which make your skin velvety when absorbed. The sea I can never be too far from the sea. Most evenings I take a walk on Sandymount beach and marvel at Dublin bay.
