Parents abroad: How do you cope with long-distance travel?

As Christmas approaches, we’re asking readers to share their tips and experiences

Christmas is fast approaching and many Irish parents living abroad are preparing to pack up their bundles of joy and bring them back to Ireland for a visit, perhaps for the first time.

We want to hear from readers who have travelled with kids (young and old) in tow about your experiences, and what you have learned. Have you had any mishaps or disasters? Or have you found it easy as pie because you prepared so well? What tips or suggestions do you have for others?

Share your stories using the form above. A selection of responses may be published online next week.

Thank you, and happy travels!
