What is ‘The Irish Times Digital Edition’?

The Irish Times ePaper (previously known as the Digital Edition) is an exact electronic replica of The Irish Times printed newspaper. You can access the ePaper as part of your Premium Subscription to The Irish Times or you can purchase a single issue through the Google Play store. 

Is my Irish Times Digital Edition app up to date?

We continuously update The Irish Times Digital Edition app for Android devices in order to improve its performance. Before contacting customer service with matters related to the app please check you have the latest app installed on the device. Apps can be set to update automatically through your Google Playstore or go to Google Playstore to update the app.

When is today’s Digital Edition available to download?

The ePaper is available by 3am GMT Monday to Saturday.

How do I search?

To search an edition, pull down the Search icon, tap the icon, enter your keywords and select Search.

How do I print an article?

When you choose a story, the article will open in article view. To print the story, select the print icon on the top right hand corner of the screen.

Can I read The Irish Times ePaper when I am not in a wifi zone?

Yes, just download the full edition in a wifi zone and you will be able to read that edition any time.

Can I delete ePaper editions from my phone / tablet?

To delete editions, select My Editions. Choose edit on the top right hand corner of the screen, select the editions you wish to delete and select the delete option. 

How do I enable Autodelete?

Simply tap the More icon on the top right corner, choose settings and choose the autodelete period you would like.
