The World Fleadh kicks off today in Castlebar, Co Mayo, and will run until August 8th. The annual celebration of Irish folk and trad music will feature performances from Shane McGowan, Eddi Reader, Damien Dempsey, The Saw Doctors, Moving Hearts and more.
A number of musicians, including Mary Black and Dolores Keane, will also pay tribute to renowned folk group De Dannan at the festival.
