The Ticket gig of the week

It's hard to be pithy about Sufjan Stevens's cosmic carnival.

From start to finish it was more spectacle than most gigs, from Tron stripes and angel wings to confetti and laser visuals. Musically it was dominated by newer, Age of Adz material, but left room for an epic Chicago encore featuring giant bouncing balls. A contender for gig of the year.
