The Cardiff collective are in bouncy form on this "concept single" about two people whose musical tastes completely clash. Fittingly, the tune is a total clash of styles, linked together by the most frantic boy-girl vocals since The Rezillos. If you recognise all the acts they namecheck here, you're in the clique.

JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ Teardrop Peace Frog ****

The Swedish strummer has a go at the Massive Attack tune, and his guitar-picking skills are well up to interpreting the trip-hop classic. We couldn't work out what Liz Fraser was singing on the original and, José's accent means that we are still none the wiser.

ROBYN Handle Me Konichiwa ***

Are you a "selfish, narcissistic, psycho freaking, bootlicking Nazi pimp"? This song's for you. Robin Miriam Carlsson is the Swede sensation behind Konichiwa Bitches and the chart-topping With Every Heartbeat. This ode to a guy who thinks he's the bomb should secure the lady's tough-cookie credentials.
