Pine counter may sell for £1,500 in Kilkenny

MICHAEL Donohoe & Sons of Goresbridge, Co Kilkenny, will be holding an auction next Monday on the company's premises at 6 p.m. The 600 lots include a Victorian mahogany 8ft economy table and a 16ft pine counter, both carrying the same estimate of £1,200-£1,500. Also in this sale are a Victorian mahogany writing desk (estimate £600-£800), a Victorian ebonised mounted credenza and a Victorian mahogany four-door sideboard (both also £600-£800 each), a Kilkenny marble fireplace (£500-£600) and a stripped pine console table and mirror (£500-£600).
