A WEST of Ireland landscape by Paul Henry is likely to attract most interest and the highest price at next Tuesday's auction in Adams of Blackrock, starting at 11 a.m. It is estimated at £14,000-£16,000, while Jack B. Yeats's Canal at Leixlip is expected to sell for £12,000-£16,000 and Eva Hamilton's Activity in Mayo £1,000-£1,500.
The 700 odd lots in the sale also include furniture, such as two Victorian mahogany bookcases and two Victorian mahogany pedestal dining tables (each estimated to sell for £500-£800), as well as a 19th century mahogany sofa table (£2,000-£2,500) and an Irish mahogany sideboard (£900-£1,300).
