Radiohead manager Brian Message has co-founded a new record label. Polyphonic differs from other indie companies by allowing signed artists to retain full copyright ownership of their songs.

Polyphonic will use a profit-sharing business model that is said to allow acts to retain at least 50 per cent of the money their music makes. It is believed that the initial focus will be on digital releases.
