It was almost like the last decade never happened when Ash played their 2001 album Free All Angelsin its entirety at The Academy on Tuesday night; even ex-guitarist Charlotte Hatherley got in on the act.

Despite a couple of lulls, tunes like Shining Lightand Burn Baby Burnstill sound box-fresh, as did the Greatest Hits set that followed. Not bad for a midweek disco inferno.
