TRACK OF THE WEEK:Don't Save Me by Haim

We’re stoked to see Haim movin’ on up, and their new single, Don’t Save Me, is their best since Forever. The three sisters pout their way through the video for the track, and include some amazing . . . Baby One More Time visual references. It’s not all long hair and lipstick though, lead singer Danielle channels Stevie Nicks, while Este and Alana chime in with backing vocals. In this week’s most exciting news, Marvin JLS and Rochelle Saturdays are about to start a family! The recently-married pair took to Twitter to express their excitement, with Roch tweeting: “I wanted to be the first to tell you . . . we have some exciting news to share! Marvin and I could NOT be more thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child mid next year. We have always dreamt of being parents and the news is the best early Christmas present we could have asked for. I know Marvin is going to be a great dad and we’re so excited to start a family.” Marvin chimed in: “Baby is due middle of next year and all is great!! We want to say thank you to everyone for their love and support . . . it means so much to us!!! We are over the moon.” Amazing.

Second place goes to Beyoncé (that’s the first time we’ve ever written that sentence), who has announced that she’s going to be directing a documentary based on her own life. Due to air in February 2013, the film will include home movies, information about her childhood, and focus on when Beyoncé decided to build her own company, Parkwood Entertainment. Beyoncé released a statement saying: “Some of my favourite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.”
