A thousand intrepid souls will travel from Dublin to Electric Picnic by bicycle in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital on Friday. The Tour de Picnic, which sets off on the 90km journey at 10am, is hoping to raise at least €500,000. Cycling enthusiast Daragh Lally said he relished the chance to combine his hobby with raising money for the cause, adding that “the free ticket is a nice bonus”.
