A recent poll conducted by Classic FM revealed that the theme from the Harry Potterfilms is the most popular piece of classical music with children.

The John Williams- composed piece trumped compositions by Sergei Prokofiev (who had three entries in the top 10 alone) as well as works by Pachelbel, Elgar and Tchaikovsky. Coming in at second place was Howard Blake's Walking in the Airfrom The Snowman.
