MUSIC NEWS:The next instalment in the Future Bright gig series will take place at Crawdaddy next Thursday, and will be curated by Irish blogger Naomi McArdle, whose Harmless Noise blog is a staunch supporter of new Irish music.

Cork-based electronica artist Toby Kaar will headline a bill that includes Waterford dreampop duo Low Sea, synth duo Last Days of 1984, Verse Chorus Verse – the side project of Tony Wright, guitarist with And So I Watch You From Afar — and solo electronica artist Bantum. The live show will be followed by DJ sets by Le Galaxie and Logikparty.

"I'm thrilled to take this step of bringing Harmless Noise beyond the screen and out into the live music arena," McArdle said. "It's a fantastic opportunity to bring some of the most exciting bands featured on the site to the readers for such an incredibly low price." Tickets are €5 on the door.
