Bruce Springsteen and The E Street band announce third Irish date for 2023

European Tour visits Dublin’s RDS in May

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced a third date to their forthcoming Irish shows with tickets having gone on sale on Friday morning.

On Tuesday, the popular US rock outfit confirmed an initial two Irish dates on their return-to-the-road European tour which gets underway on April 28th, 2023, in Barcelona, Spain.

The full list of tour venues are Barcelona, Dublin, Paris, Ferrara, Rome, Amsterdam, Landgraaf, Zurich, Düsseldorf, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Vienna, Munich and Monza.

Additional cities and shows in the UK and Belgium will be announced at a later date and a second North American tour leg will start in August.

The 2023 dates will mark the first live shows for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band since the conclusion of their 14-month, worldwide The River Tour in Australia in February, 2017. The River Tour was named 2016’s top global tour by both Billboard and Pollstar.

“After six years, I’m looking forward to seeing our great and loyal fans next year. And I’m looking forward to once again sharing the stage with the legendary E Street Band. See you out there, next year – and beyond,” said Springsteen.

Springsteen and The E Street Band last performed together on the television show Saturday Night Live in December 2020, where they launched live versions of two songs from their most recent studio album Letter To You, which reached number one in eleven countries and marked the band’s first time recording live together in decades.

Last year, Springsteen unveiled his never-before-released Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts film, and collaborated with former US president Barack Obama on the book Renegades: Born In The USA.

He also reprised his show Springsteen On Broadway to help reopen New York City venues last summer.
