Glasgows's Soma Records have seen thrills aplenty over the past two decades. You'll hear a lot of them on this three-CD set that rounds up some of the highpoints which have made Stuart MacMillan and Orde Meikle's label a reliable filter for quality electronic releases. Indeed, Slam, MacMillan and Meikle contributed one of those superior tunes with Positive Education, which shares space with tracks from Daft Punk (the previously unreleased Drive, from the duo's early days), Silicone Soul (the magnificent Right On, Right Onnow possesses a timeless sheen), Funk D'Void ( Diablowill bring out the goosebumps all over again), Percy X and many others from the good old days.
