Prepare to swoon at what Swedish dream-pop that maestros Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjader have conjured up. Korallreven's sparkling, shimmering slices of slow- motion Balearic delight have been enjoyed by many since the release of their debut single Loved Upback in 2009. What's striking about their debut album is the unhurried pace and superbly pitched pop that dominate proceedings. While there are occasions when they share a palette with fellow new-school pop dreamers such as Tanlines and The Tough Alliance, the duo also craft enticing, lush idiosyncratic grooves of their own.
